It appears that Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas’ heated divorce dispute is starting to cool off. Guess dating new people seems to have done them good!
Turner has decided to withdraw the ‘child abduction’ claim against her ex-husband Joe Jonas regarding their custody of their two daughters, HeTexted.com reports.
The former couple shares two children, Delphine, who is 18 months old, and Willa.
September of last year, the 27-year-old actress filed a lawsuit against Jonas, who is 34, accusing him of withholding their daughters’ passports and preventing them from returning to England.
Jonas’ spokesperson denied the allegations of “abducting” the girls and accused Turner of trying to take them out of the United States permanently.
They urged Turner to reconsider her harsh legal stance and find a more constructive and private way to move forward.
After about two weeks, Jonas and Turner reached a temporary custody agreement for their daughters. Jonas then filed to dismiss the custody portion of their divorce case in Florida since it had already been resolved.

They then released a joint statement, saying, “After a productive and successful mediation, we have agreed that the children will spend equal time in loving homes in both the U.S. and the UK.”
The statement concluded with, “We are excited to be great co-parents.” On September 5th, the musician filed for a divorce in Miami from his wife of four years.
The filing stated that “the marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken.” According to the divorce filing, the couple had a prenuptial agreement in place.
Joe and Sophie initially connected through Instagram direct messages in 2016 and got married in 2019.
The rest of the case was put on hold to see if they could resolve it themselves. Eventually, they agreed to handle their separation privately.

Sophie Turner has been linked to British aristocrat Peregrine Pearson as they have been spotted together on a few dates here and there.
Joe Jonas just recently made headlines after he confirmed that he was in a relationship with former beauty queen Stormie Bree.

Meanwhile, Sophie’s ex, Joe, was spotted in Aspen with his new flame, Stormi. Rumors were already circulating that Joe had started dating Stormi while going through a divorce with Sophie.
To add fuel to the fire, Stormi and Joe enjoyed a romantic ski trip together in the celebrity-filled Colorado resort town.
They were seen laughing and sharing affection as they rode the chair-lift and hit the slopes together.
First Mr. Singer was not that happy about Sophie’s relationship and how fast she had moved on.
As rumored he was not happy about the PDA Turner and Pearson were putting on display in public, but his thought changed.
While he sure was not thrilled about his ex showing off, there were whispers that he secretly wanted to find love again as well.

Sophi Turner on the other hand has yet to comment but she was spotted in public all smiles after the news of Joe’s romance broke out.
Turner seemed to be in high spirits when she was spotted at Heathrow Airport, sporting a shiny gold band on her engagement finger.
