These mini-series we are getting on TikTok are just… DRAMA!
And this time we got a three-part series from Sophia La Corte on her relationship with Halley Kate Mcgookin.
The drama between them is heating up once more. If you missed it, these two NYC influencers were caught up in a love triangle last December, theygossip.com reports.
Fast forward to August 18, and La Corte is stirring the pot again with a three-part TikTok series. While the internet usually eats this stuff up, people have some mixed feelings about it this time.
Honestly, I think it’s fair to say that TikTok has turned into a kind of reality TV channel. I’m the type of person who likes to stay updated on everything happening in internet culture, so this shouldn’t really surprise anyone.

Part 1
Sophie was feeling a bit restless and thought it’d be fun to share that time a girl totally got her canceled online.
Oh, and she mentioned that she never really had a close bond with Hally Kate!
La Conte kicks off her video talking about her date night with this guy, sharing how much fun she had and how nice it was to spend time with him. (Yep, that was Halley Kate’s ex).
The day after the date, she got a text from an unknown number, which turned out to be Halley asking if she really went out with her ex.
This was their first chat ever since they had never really talked one-on-one before.
Sophie thought it was odd that Halley reached out about the guy since he was single, and she didn’t feel like she owed anyone an explanation.
Just as Sophie received the text she had been anticipating, it was from the guy! They ended up hanging out that day before La Corte had to head to work.
While they were enjoying their little date, Halley kept calling the guy, and he reassured Sophie not to stress because he was aware that the two girls weren’t friends, and it was his issue to deal with.
Then Kate shared a video about La Corte, and it quickly went viral, painting her as a disloyal friend who cheated.

Sophie didn’t really care about it until it blew up after Halley spread a fake story.
The three of them were all single, and the two girls had never been friends. La Corte gets that breakups are tough, but dragging her into it when they barely knew each other wasn’t the best idea.
Sophie’s date with the guy was set up a week before Halley and La Corte met at work and went out for drinks with everyone else.
Kate claimed she bought drinks for Sophie and that Sophie left her bag at her place, but it turns out that was all a lie.
According to La Corte, everyone chipped in for a round of shots at the work event, and the bag Kate mentioned was just a gift bag from the event that Halley was planning to donate, which the whole group had given to her.

In the final part, Sophie talked about the online hate she received and shared a story about a fan who confronted her after seeing her out on a date with ‘the guy’.
La Corte and the guy went on about four or five dates, but they realized they just weren’t meant to be together.

This happened right after a Reddit post went viral, claiming that Williams was spotted on a date with influencer Sophia La Corte at the Ludlow Hotel, just days after La Corte and Halley Kate had been at an event together.
Halley felt betrayed by Sophiw whom she considered a friend had apparently started dating William!
She later discussed the drama on the Delusional Diaries podcast, reiterating her desire for people not to spread hate while sharing her side of the story.
Ultimately, Halley Kate, and Williams reconciled in early 2024, leading the controversy to die down.
Halley has posted about Sophies mini-series on her TikTok too telling others that “Just letting y’all know I’m a real person just trying my best at life and I try to be as authentic about that as possible,” Halley Kate wrote.
“I get on this app every day to make people smile. I used to come on and be so excited to check my comments and now I dread opening my phone and reading lies, rumors, & hate.”
Kate is getting a lot of support in the comment section with many telling her that they will stand by her side no matter what.
