Spent 15 minutes on TikTok and now my FYP is filled with stuff about those two. Apparently, some people are claiming Hailey is a stalker and jealous of Selena, so now they’re making fun of her.
They’re even sharing videos of Justin looking uninterested in Hailey and labeling it as “an arranged marriage.” It’s just sad in my opinion.
We don’t really know what’s happening in their private lives. We don’t know them personally, so why jump to conclusions? This whole drama seems so unnecessary.
Plus, she’s happily in a relationship with Benny Blanco. I mean, come on! People have been speculating left and right about Hailey and Benny throwing shade at each other ever since Selena started dating him.
But honestly, who knows what’s true anymore? At this point, I’m convinced this whole feud is just a clever marketing ploy.
Let’s look at the clues as to why this drama can and has been used as a PR strategy to boost both of the two ladies.

It’s really strange to me how many people are completely fixated on the drama between Selena Gomez and Hailey Bieber.
Selena has openly talked about how toxic that relationship with Justin was, so I highly doubt she wants to be constantly reminded of it.

But every time it comes up, people always seem to say things like “I’m buying/supporting rare” or “I’m buying Rhode,” and it just feels like the brand owners are ‘shamelessly’ capitalizing on the situation to make a quick buck.

In 2023, there were reports that Hailey mocked Selena, particularly targeting her eyebrows, weight, and lupus.

Selena and Hailey are/will be a hot topic, which is driving views, clicks, and sales for the brands.
However, there is no evidence of any marketing scheme or drama being milked on the brands’ social channels.

It’s not as significant or profound as people online are making it out to be. Hailey grew up during the Jelena era, so she may feel a bit insecure about it.
She was caught snooping on or accidentally following some anti-Selena hate pages, which is embarrassing but not a big deal.
I find it appalling how Hailey has been heavily criticized for this relatively mild drama. It’s also interesting that her husband doesn’t seem interested in defending her at all.
It must be humiliating to constantly have people speculate about whether your husband truly loves you, and for him not to make any effort to prove them wrong.
We all have been pining two people against one another by reading way too much into some things.
There has never been a relationship between them, and there never will be. Maybe if they apologize to each other, everyone can live in peace and stop interfering with them.
