Selena Gomez and David Henrie are giving bestie vibes in the latest photos from behind the scenes of the new season of Wizards of Waverly Place.
Disney’s Wizards of Waverly Place sequel series is giving us major déjà vu vibes with Justin and Alex Russo back at it again, HeTexted.com reports.
This time, they’re not just co-stars, but also calling the shots as executive producers. The photo on Disney+ is a nostalgic throwback to the original show, but now the siblings are all grown up and ready to tackle new magical escapades.
Oh and just so you know a whole podcast has been set about the show back in 2023.
I haven’t listened to the podcast, but I’ve seen some clips on social media. From what I gathered, much of the drama revolved around David Henrie not wanting to be a part of it anymore.
However, I do recall a clip where they mentioned that most of the cast still keep in touch and were interested in joining the reboot.
They mentioned names like Jake Austin and Selena Gomez, but unfortunately, their schedules didn’t allow it.
It’s kind of ironic that the one who didn’t want to be associated with the show is now at the center of the reboot. Pretty interesting and maybe a valid reason for some saltiness.

It seems like David makes a post about his friendship with Gomez at least once or twice a year and I almost forgot that David posted a lot about the time they both worked together to make a whole movie!!
