Who needs a romantic partner when you have a best friend who can double up as your plus one at events?
Being besties means you have got each other’s backs, even when it comes to playing the role of a date.
Last night the Met Gals was serving looks and when Sarah Jessica Parker and Andy Cohen stepped on the red carpet together hand in hand we confused them for a minute as life partners.
However, these two have been lifelong besties and for years Andy has been Cinderella’s date (Sarah’s) as her husband does not really like these kinds of things, or events!!
This is the first time after six years of not attending the Met Gala that these two make an appearance there, HeTexted.com reports!!
Oh, forget all that noise! What I’m dying to find out is when this friendship kicked off and just how tight are they, you know?

Cohen is surely the one who shares more insight about his relationship with Jessica Parker on social media.
On his Instagram page, there are videos and pictures of them taking walks, spending time, and attending events together.
Then we scrolled even farther down and found some funny pictures of just Sarah on Andy’s page, some throwbacks from when they attended award shows back in the day.
Then we have more pictures of them at events as one another dates and that pretty much sums up Andy’s page.
As for Sarah, well her’s is a tad bit different I’d say. She is more of a privacy person I guess.
The photos she has on her account are similar but less in number, she posts very little about her husband too!!

They fight over the bill, they have inside jokes, have a strong connection built on love, devotion, faith, admiration, and encouragement.
So the answer to them being best friends is yes, they have been together before Cohen rose to fame and have maintained the same peace with their friendship.
Now it is time to bring up the good old debate of boys and girls being just friends!! Sarah and Andy are the perfect example that friendship is possible with someone of the opposite sex.
It’s totally possible for a boy and a girl to be the best of friends, like lifelong buddies, without catching feelings for each other.

Their friendship is not something that happened easily as they were both afraid to ask one another out for friendly dates.

For one another they are real friends and when they are together the whole room just changes and it is totally understandable it is a friendship of 26 years.
Oh, and they live right next to one another meaning they are neighbors too!
They tell one another everything, no secrets. It took five years for Cohen to get used with Parker’s company as he could not believe they were really friends!
They haven’t revealed much about their friendship, only mentioning a few things like how quickly they hit it off, being neighbors, and keeping their bond private.
However, we are glad that we get to witness these kinds of friendships in Hollywood!!
