Paul Young, the 1980s idol who still tours as a vocalist is now excited to announce that his new partner has accepted his proposal and they will be getting married soon.
Young lost his wife Stacey Smith to brain cancer almost six years ago and now fans are happy that he has found another love, HeTexted.com reports.
This groovy 80s pop sensation, who’s still rockin’ it at 67, decided to bless our Instagram feeds on Monday with a picture-perfect moment of him and his fiancée.
He posted a pic with the caption ‘Lorna said Yes!’ and it’s obvious they are both over the moon and ready to take on the world together.
Lorna just couldn’t resist flaunting her lovey-dovey side on her fabulous Instagram feed too, ‘My world, my love, my everything, 5 years of joy, I could not love anyone more’ she wrote.
Paul’s late wife Stacey featured in the music video for his 1983 hit Come Back And Stay and later on they started dating and got married in 1987.
They had three children together: Levi, Layla, and Grady Cole.
Although they separated in 2006, they rekindled their relationship in 2013. During their time apart, Stacey had a fourth child named Jude with Israeli businessman Ilan Slazenger.
When Paul and Stacey reunited, Paul became Jude’s stepfather.
Stacey got her diagnosis when she and Paul had been married for 30 years, she died in 2018 after battling with brain cancer for two years.
