In case anyone needed a reminder, I’m still fiercely anti-Zach Bryan and will be forever! If there comes a day when Zach Bryan has no haters left, assume I’m gone, honestly.
For those not totally caught up, social media star Brianna Chickenfry famously dated the country singer for over a year—and now she’s opening up about the nightmare that was their relationship.
She’s accused him of some seriously intense emotional abuse, not to mention trying to buy her silence with a whopping $12 million payout.
Like, imagine just being decent to women so you don’t end up offering hush money in the double-digit millions. What a wild concept!
If you’re not caught up with the BFFs podcast, let’s just say you’re definitely missing the tea.
Brianna (aka Chickenfry) LaPaglia didn’t just spill on her ex Zach Bryan—she brought a stack of receipts on a few episodes of the podcast, TheyGossip.com reports.
Meanwhile, Zach himself has been totally silent on the issue, sparking a wave of questions, not least from Brianna herself.
Brianna addressed Zach Bryan’s radio silence on her abuse claims, saying it’s just “proving his character again.”
Brianna explained, “I took the high road. I didn’t share the whole story, and me taking the high road wasn’t out of stupidity or protection. It was me throwing him a bone. It was my final cry for help to try to get him to see what he does to people and to try to get him to get help.”
She added that Bryan’s silence is likely strategic: “I obviously think he’s not responding because if he is to respond, he has to deny it.”
Chickenfry made it clear she’s not looking to “ruin” Bryan but admitted she’s been holding back from sharing the most damning details.
“I wanted to cut the birthday party story because it was going to paint him in a bad light,” she said, implying that airing out his “extreme” behavior could tarnish his reputation with fans.
She left things on a cutting note: “He is never going to be happy in his life ever. Good luck to him.”
While Bryan hasn’t responded explicitly to her podcast comments, his Instagram activity raised eyebrows.
He recently shared a Jack Kerouac quote from On the Road that read: “I didn’t know what to say. I felt like crying, Goddammit everybody in the world wants an explanation for your acts and for your very being.”
Beyond cryptic posts, the singer appears focused on work—dropping two new songs, “This World’s A Giant” and “High Road,” and extending his Quittin Time tour with 17 new dates.
Zach Bryan’s Songs About Brianna Chickenfry
There are two songs that I think everyone knows are about Bri if you are a big follower of the Bri and Zach lore on TikTok and Reddit. The songs in question are “28” and “ High Road”.
“28” is basically the Zach Bryan song that screams Brianna Chickenfry. Like, no question. In the first verse, Zach sings, “You took a train to the south side of Boston / You showed me where your whole heart stayed.”
Um, hello? Bri’s from Boston, and they literally moved to a house in Massachusetts together. Then he goes on to croon, “Took twenty-eight years of blood pumpin’ through me / To feel loved on my own birthday.”
Bri’s been super open about how deeply in love she was, which is why she stayed way longer than she should have.
And honestly? Zach singing “How lucky are we” in the chorus is a straight-up joke. Like, no. How lucky were you, bro? You didn’t deserve her for a single second.
