Maxton Hall is serving enemies to lovers’ excellence!
When I say I love angry love confessions, The Maxton Hall Series is giving off that energy!!
We’ve got ourselves a love story that’s as toxic as it gets! And let me tell you, it’s got all the drama you could ever want.
We’ve got Harriet Herbig-Matten and Damian Hardung taking the lead roles and stealing the spotlight on our screens. Trust me, you won’t be able to look away!
In this captivating love story, Maxton Hall, a prestigious boarding school, sets the stage for a whirlwind romance that is as toxic as it gets.
Ruby Bell, a fiercely independent and headstrong girl, finds herself entangled in a web of passion, deceit, and heartbreak.
And at the center of it all is James Beaufort, the enigmatic and brooding bad boy who becomes the catalyst for a series of events that will leave you on the edge of your seat, HeTexted.com reports.
Maxton Hall, with its opulent halls and secret corridors, becomes the backdrop for this intense love affair.
Ruby Belle, a scholarship student from a humble background, is immediately drawn to the allure and mystery that surrounds Damian.
His rebellious nature and magnetic charm prove irresistible, and she finds herself falling head over heels for him.
On BookTok, it’s a typical enemies-to-lovers situation. James is extremely arrogant and refuses to stoop down to Ruby’s “level.” Consequently, he initially treats her poorly.

Ruby, on the other hand, is unwilling to tolerate such treatment—but she is also clouded by her own pride and biases against James.
As they are forced to collaborate more closely, they come to the realization that they may not despise each other as intensely as they initially believed.
Are Ruby and James dating in real?
When we talk about actors by now you must know that we like to ship them! So we have been doing some digging and discovered a connection between the two actors in real life too!
The real question is why are we so sure about a spark brewing between the two, well photos are worth a thousand words and so are videos so you get the idea of where we are coming from!!
Let’s talk about their Instagram pages, what are those photos of them holding hands?!!
Okay, we agree that they are in their enemies-to-lovers era but the pictures make it kind of obvious that something is going on between the two.
Like we have them walking around hand in hand, or the way they share hugs on video like no one is watching not to forget about the way they seem to enjoy working with one another, especially photoshoots.

There is just this energy surrounding them and the chemistry is there. The way they connect in interviews and the looks they exchange are hard to miss.
Oh, and Harriet has stolen Damian’s hoodie from the set and she kind of agreed that it was a boyfriend hoodie!
Harriet and Damian feelings about playing Ruby and James
The interviewers might lean towards pushing a romantic narrative for the characters, but Harriet herself clearly sees the relationship as toxic.
She expressed discomfort with promoting it, which is understandable in today’s world. During the press conference, she mentioned feeling overshadowed by the James character and needing time to detox after filming.
Damien on the other hand had no reaction during the interviews, he was rather surprised about how Harriet was finding his character rather toxic!!
However, Harriet did give this very nice answer about how she fell for the good side of James even though many saw him as a bad person.
I agree that the relationship was a catalyst for change for both characters. They have a sweet dynamic, and I hope it stays that way.
I enjoy seeing new actors in the industry because they tend to be less pretentious. I just hope they don’t let the show’s popularity get to their heads.
Maxton Hall became a hit unexpectedly, so it was more of a passion project. If they can maintain that same spirit in future seasons, I believe the show will continue to be great.
Sometimes, shows struggle with their own hype, and I am not surprised that this one was renewed for another season, given its popularity and the source material available for adaptation.
Just 12 more episodes to go if they stick to six per season (although we all wouldn’t mind more!).
