Lopez filed for divorce on Tuesday in LA, she handled all this by herself, with no lawyer in sight (total boss move) just two years after their 2022 wedding.
They were together for around three years this time around.

So, Lopez and Affleck are officially done, and honestly, it’s been a minute coming with all those breakup rumors flying around.
This split hits differently since it’s been over 20 years since their first superpublic love story, engagement, and then the whole dramatic split.

A court document in this whole Lopez and Affleck drama says that either Lopez or her lawyer has to hit up Affleck with a copy of her divorce petition.
Reports are saying that Lopez, who switched her last name to Affleck, didn’t drop any deets about a prenup in her divorce papers.
The LA Superior Court filing mentions that both Lopez and Affleck gotta share their financial info, like what they earn, spend, own, and owe.
They’re required to keep it real about any money changes until they sort out all the financial stuff.
The court gave Lopez 60 days to spill her financial tea, and then Affleck gets another 60 days after that to do the same.
If either of them doesn’t keep it updated, they could face some court penalties.
