Jada Pinkett Smith and August Alsina had Will Smith’s blessing for their little ‘entanglement’, they were all on board with this.
Looks like Will and Jada were having a very hard time as a couple and decided to go their own ways after 20 years of marriage and two kids.
Towards an open relationship as they like to call it or is this a PR strategy? What could it be?
The August Alsina guy came out of nowhere and said that he and Jada were a thing! And get this, Will was cool with it, HeTexted.com reports!
“I actually sat down with Will and had a conversation due to the transformation from their marriage to life partnership … he gave me his blessing,” August revealed.
How were we supposed to believe that, because from afar it looked like The Smiths love each other dearly to cheat on each other? But if he said it there must be something to that.
August spilled all the tea during an interview with Angela Yee on “Breakfast Club” in July 2020. He said he was super into Jada and gave everything he had to their relationship.
They were introduced to each other by Jaden Smith, fell in ‘love’ and they had the entanglement.
“I totally gave myself to that relationship for years of my life, and I truly and really, really deeply love and have a ton of love for her,” said Alsina.
But here is the thing Pinkett Smith made it clear that Smith didn’t give Alsina the green light to go after her. She said that she was the only one who could give permission in that situation.
Is this a PR strategy?
The Smith family
Someone in their PR team may have thought it would be a brilliant idea to spill some personal tea on their marriage.
These two are getting up there in age and their star power is slowly dimming, and it might work like a charm! With everyone buzzing about their marriage drama and the affair.
People will be like poor Will, right? Suddenly, people are feeling all sympathetic towards him, crossing their fingers for his success.
Jada, on the other hand, well, she’s the villain in this little soap opera. But, who cares? She’s not the one bringing home the bacon in that relationship, honey.
Nope, it’s all about Will, the shining knight in this twisted tale.
We bet the whole point of this little charade was to make folks feel all warm and fuzzy toward Will, so they’ll flock to the theaters to catch his next blockbuster.
Clever move, we must admit. But hey, let’s see if this sympathy card actually pays off, and if this is a strategy move give a big applause to whoever’s behind this.
Jada and August involvment
Jada Pinkett and August Alsina while they were having a fling
On The Red Table, Will and Jada Smith were talking about Jada’s relationship with August Alsina after he spilled the beans in that interview.
After that interview, Will and Jada had a discussion to clear things up and give their side of the story.
Basically, Jada wasn’t happy in her relationship with Will for a while, and Will felt the same way.
So, they decided to take a break and do their own thing, even though they were still legally married.
During this break, Jada was helping August with his mental health, genetic liver diseases, and drug issues.
Somehow, they ended up getting into a relationship. Jada even called it an “entanglement” a few times, which caused a huge stir on the internet.
If she had just said they were in a relationship, it would have been big news, but not as crazy as it is now.
Jada showed support for August after he revealed his disease to fans
Anyway, this all happened years ago, and it’s kind of ridiculous that it’s being brought up again. It seems like August is using it as a calculated move to promote his album.
Jada has been referenced once before in one of Alsina’s songs.
In this video, he slides into the DMs of a girl named “Koren,” which, by the way, just so happens to be Jada Pinkett Smith’s middle name, and throws some serious shade toward her.
And to add more to their fling drama he dropped a track called “Entanglements” featuring Rick Ross, it was all about pouring his heart out over that messy relationship.
The lyrics that pointed to his relationship with Pinkett went like this:
“That ain’t my girl, but I got the key to the crib and to the car”
“You left your man just to fuck with me and break his heart.”
“The definition of entanglement / It’s when you’re tangled in the sheets.”
