Bryan Tanaka has confirmed that he and Mariah Carey have decided to end their relationship.
In an Instagram post on Tuesday, the backup dancer expressed his mixed emotions about their amicable separation after being together for seven amazing years, HeTexted.com reports.
He mentioned that their decision to go their separate ways was mutual, and they both approached this new chapter with a deep appreciation for the time they spent together.
Tanaka, who began dating the talented singer in 2016, also stated that he will cherish their memories and artistic collaborations forever.
“Dear friends and fans. With mixed emotions, I share this personal update regarding my amicable separation from Mariah Carey after seven extraordinary years together.”
“Our decision to embark on different paths is mutual, and as we navigate these separate journeys, we do so with profound respect and an overwhelming sense of gratitude for the invaluable time we’ve shared.”
“The memories we’ve created and the artistic collaborations are etched in my heart forever,” he finished his statement by asking for privacy in this sensitive time.
However, their relationship seemed to have ended before we caught up to what was happening.
